RBI Grade B Officer

Grade B Officer post in Reserve Bank of India is a highly esteemed job of the country. RBI Grade B Exam is conducted annually by Reserve Bank of India and lakhs of students take part in this recruitment drive. RBI is the central bank of the country and the numerous perks offered by RBI Grade B post apart from the reputed job, makes it the most sought-after job among students in large number. Minimum required age is 21 years and maximum age 30 years. If a candidate possesses M.Phil and Ph.D. degree, the upper age limits in these cases are 32 and 34 years respectively. Candidate should have minimum 60% marks (for SC/ ST/ PWD, 50%) or equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree, 12th (Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard. Reserve Bank of India releases the notification for Grade B exam every year. The notification is released for various posts including-

RBI Grade B Interview

The Interview will be of 50 marks. Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on aggregate of marks obtained in Phase-II (Paper-I +Paper-II +Paper-III). The minimum aggregate cut off marks for being shortlisted for Interview will be decided by the Board in relation to the number of vacancies. Roll No. of the candidates shortlisted for interview will be published on RBI website at appropriate time and interview call letters will be sent on registered email ID. Candidate may opt for interview either in Hindi or English. Final Selection will be through merit list which will be prepared by adding marks secured by candidates in Phase-II examination and interview.

Besides the preliminary exam and the mains exam, an interview process is also conducted for candidates who qualify the first two phases of RBI Grade B Officer exam.

The final merit list is made on the basis of marks obtained by a candidate in his/ her mains exam and interview process.
